Summer in Florida is one of the best times to think about establishing trees for shade or fruit.

Tropical fruits abound on the Edison Ford property since Thomas Edison was interested in growing food for his family and for the community.

We have 10 different types of mangoes, bananas, mulberries, lychees, avocadoes, starfruit, sapotes, sapodillas, jackfruit, miracle fruit and many more.

Just pass by McGregor Blvd. and one will see our lovely Royal Poincianas, Apple Blossom Cassias, Ylang Ylang and many more trees in the Garden Shoppe area to learn what works in your space by seeing the real thing.

Note: Participants might want to park at the new Edison Ford Botanical Garden Shoppe entrance at the corner of McGregor Boulevard and Larchmont Avenue. Look for the new walkway and the new wood pergola at the entrance gate. Park and enter through the bougainvillea hedge.
