- January 10, 10:00 a.m. – Museum West Porch
Containers are a great way to grow plants in apartments or condos without your own piece of property, or for the homeowner to add interest to your garden, patio, or lanai. Come to our Monthly Garden Talk (second Saturday of every month) and learn how to grow flowers, succulents, herbs and delicious vegetables in containers. Find out what plants do best in containers, how to install drip irrigation, and experiment with a variety of containers (recycled tires, soda bottles, repurposed buckets, ceramic pots, glass orbs, etc.).
Seeds, plants, and organic fertilizers will be available for sale in the Edison Ford Garden Shoppe and Museum Store. Come meet the new Manager of the Garden Shoppe, Horticulturalist Janice Schmidt.
Participants receive a 20% discount in the Garden Shoppe.
Cost: Edison Ford Members $5; non-members $10 helps us defray the cost of materials.
Pre-register by email: firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone 239.334.7419, or register the day of the class.
