Dwarf poinciana red orange yellow flowerThe Edison and Ford families both loved their trees and we have a great collection of some of their favorites in the Garden Shoppe, which are propagated by horticultural staff and volunteers. This summer, we have special prices on some very unusual trees and will help you with planting directions. It is good to call ahead to be sure a garden horticulturalist is available to help you. We also do special orders and are a UF Master Gardener site. Remember Members receive a 10% discount. Some of the unusual and favorite trees are: Candle Nut, Calabash, Tamarind, Red Kapok, Bangar Nut, Pink Silk Floss and False Rubber Tree-Mascarenhasia (blooms smell like buttered popcorn) which Edison used for his rubber research.
